We are scientists who believe in the scientific process.

Cognitive psychologists have spent decades researching the most effective learning strategies, and there is now a pretty strong consensus forming about what works best.

It consists of:

  • Spaced sessions . . .
  • . . . of retrieval practice (answering questions that require students to recall information without seeing it on the page) . . . .
  • . . . where students practise with a consistent test format (answering the kind of questions they will face in their final exam) . . .
  • . . . receiving corrective feedback after every attempt . . .
