Home $ KB Article $ How can I create a scatter graph of engagement with GCSE Prepper and performance in exams?

It is vital that your students understand that spending more time on GCSE Prepper will translate into better results in their GCSEs.

Scatter graphs of time spent on GCSE performance vs performance in school exams (e.g. mocks) is an excellent way of helping them to make the connection.

You can even use this feature to compare time spent on GCSE Prepper with performance in their actual GCSEs (by entering their final grades) and show the results to students next year to motivate them.

Just follow these simple steps (or click on the following link to launch a simple guide (with images):

  1. Make sure that you have the results of the test available to input
  2. Click on the three dots (…) for the relevant class
  3. Click on ‘Leaderboard’
  4. Click on ‘Create Custom Test Report’
  5. Give the report a name – so that you can find it again later
  6. Select the section(s) of the specification that the class was tested on in the exam – because you are only interested in the time they spent learning the relevant content
  7. Enter the maximum score for the test and a name for the report
  8. Enter each user’s score in the boxes provided to the right of their names
  9. Press ‘Save Custom Report’

This will create a scatter graph of time spent learning the content in the section(s) selected vs score on the test. The time component includes time spent on homework set by teachers and time spent by the student revising.
